UKAEL

The UKAEL brings together all those across the UK with an interest in European Union law.

Through lectures, conferences and other events it promotes a better understanding of EU law, encourages debate and discussion on current issues, and as the UK branch of FIDE, is part of an international network of European law associations.

We are in the process of planning a series of exciting events for the autumn. More information to follow shortly. In the meantime, please put these dates in your diaries:

*  A seminar on "Freedom of Movement after Brexit”, planned for Tuesday 6 November at 6.30 pm at City University, London, speakers to be confirmed.

*  Our Student Evening on Tuesday 20 November.

*  Our Annual Lecture, to be delivered by Sir Martin Donnelly, on Tuesday 4 December at 6.30 pm at King’s College London, Strand campus.

What we ask in return:

We usually hold 4-5 events a year where help is needed with registration, passing microphones during Q&Q sessions, simple IT help with setting up slides etc. For the remainder of this year we have panned the following:

*  Our Student Evening on Tuesday 20 November, to be held at Freshfields.
